Project Overview

This project was a masterclass in logistical precision. Tasked with a total overhaul of the Wood Fire Smoke site, we executed a complete strip-out and high-spec rebuild in under two weeks. By coordinating multiple trades around the clock, we ensured the restaurant was ready for service with zero wasted time.

Scope of Works

• Total Strip-Out: Rapid removal of all existing furnishings and old restroom facilities.

• Structural & Drywall: Reconfiguration of the internal layout with high-performance drywall partitioning.

• Bespoke Interiors: Installation of custom-made seating and premium marble countertops.

• Full M&E Package: Complete plumbing and electrical overhaul, including kitchen-specific requirements and new restroom installations.

• Surface Finishes: Intensive tiling and flooring across the dining area and toilets.

Challenges & Solutions

• The 10-Day Deadline: To meet the extreme timeline, we utilized our Manchester workshop to pre-fabricate the marble and joinery, allowing for immediate installation as soon as the site was prepped.

• Trade Coordination: Managed a simultaneous workflow of tilers, plumbers, and electricians to ensure every hour on-site was productive.

Outcome

A seamless, full-scale refurbishment delivered on a record-breaking timeline. From the marble counters to the updated restrooms, the space was transformed into a premium dining destination in just 10 days.
